Initially intended as a joke for their children’s primary school fete entertainment in late 2022, Bronwyn Henderson and Sean Simmons celebrate AC/DC by swapping Angus Young’s Gibson 5G for a telecaster and violin and Bon Scott’s bagpipes for an accordion. They then drop a few octaves to hit that Johnny Cash drawl and you have AC Dixie. With only a couple of gigs under their belt, they have already been endorsed by AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd.
