Born and raised in Adelaide Hills and now resident in Melbourne (after long stretches in London and Los Angeles), Liam Gerner is a triple threat: firstly, he’s a formidable guitarist (acoustic and electric) who, as a hired hand, has played with Ryan Bingham, Elton John, and Vika and Linda, Eurogliders and Pnau (amongst many others). Secondly, he’s an eloquent songwriter who details life as he has experienced it. Thirdly, he’s a fine singer and raconteur whose performances have lit up pubs and clubs, cafes and concert halls across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America. Now, with Toodeloo Tuvalu, Gerner’s fourth solo album, Liam delivers nine original songs packed with observation and empathy. Steeped in the great troubadour tradition that stretches from Woody Guthrie and Slim Dusty through to Guy Clarke and Paolo Nutini (a pal from when Liam and Paolo toure together in London), Toodeloo Tuvalu demonstrates how, after his last album celebrating bush poets Henry Lawson vs Banjo Paterson (with acclaimed fiddler Luke Moller in tow), Gerner is now one of Australia’s finest songwriters and storytellers.

Cementing herself in the upper echelons of Australian singer-songwriters, Gena Rose Bruce navigates emotional turmoil, fragility, death and honesty on her sophomore album Deep Is The Way. Bruce will put these themes on show as she traverses the country in April. Last year a suffocating black fog pursued the Melbourne musician through the night’s depths – a recurring dream wraith brought on by the passing of her partner’s mother and pandemic instability. Deep Is the Way chronicles Bruce's fraught path back into the light after a recurring dream wraith brought on by the passing of her partner’s mother and pandemic instability. On the album she processes death and inner turmoil to emerge with a newfound state of strength and resilience, working with long time collaborators and forging a new wildcard relationship.

Gordi is the musical moniker of Australian singer-songwriter-producer, Sophie Payten, from the tiny agricultural town of Canowindra (population 2,500). Since her globally acclaimed debut album Reservoir in 2017 and her anticipated 2020 follow-up, Our Two Skins, the ARIA nominated artist has quickly become one of the most cherished Indie/folk songwriters, recognised for unique and progressive approach to her craft, while anchored to a deep connection with traditional song writing skills. Gordi has collaborated and performed with international Grammy-nominated artists including Troye Sivan, Bon Iver, members of Sigur Ros, Sam Smith, Julien Baker and Missy Higgins. Her work has won awards from triple j, FBi Radio, APRA, PPCA, and the Australia Council for the Arts as well as multiple features in local and international media including Pitchfork, BBC, The Guardian and more.

Since his return to the stage in 2019, Nathan has made huge waves in stamping his footprint back on the music scene. Initially intended as a joke for their children’s primary school fete entertainment in late 2022, Bronwyn Henderson and Sean Simmons celebrate AC/DC by swapping Angus Young’s Gibson 5G for a telecaster and violin and Bon Scott’s bagpipes for an accordion. They then drop a few octaves to hit that Johnny Cash drawl and you have AC Dixie. With only a couple of gigs under their belt, they have already been endorsed by AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd.
